I am much saddened to read your poems online, and reminded of Wilde’s comment
that men kill the thing they love. Do you really think that any idea that comes into your
mind is a fitting one for a poem? Can you imagine how passe and wearying are the
“shock-the-bougeois” tactics of the 1960′s which you are still employing? Is there any
place in your world-view for discipline and careful thought? For goodness sakes, my
son, try some.
