
I like interview poems and here’s an example from my forthcoming Salt collection The Departure. It’s a rather sinister interaction that slowly unfolds. I hope you like it. I’ve no idea what period it’s set in, but I do know it’s not now — and it’s located somewhere in New York City, somewhere a little seedy, somewhere you wouldn’t want to take your mother. Carl’s in for a rough time. He’s no idea who he’s talking to.
